Fayetteville is home to different sports teams including the Ice hockey team Fayetteville FireAntz, the Indoor football team Cape Fear Heroes, and the Cape Fear Heroes team that compete at the collegiate baseball. For the importance of sports, the city has a number of facilities and venues such as J.P. Riddle Stadium, Gates Four Golf & Country Club, Cumberland County Crown Coliseum, Cumberland County Crown Coliseum and many other arenas.

As a visitor of the city, make sure you take some time pass by certain great places such as the Airborne and Special Ops museum, the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial, or 1897 Poe House. And if you are looking for a theatrical experience, then the option is CAMEO Art House Theatre for instance or the Cape Fear Regional Theatre, or any of theatre facilities that spread all around the city.

And for those that like parks and look for a place where to enjoy some time and maybe do some activities, you can plan a trip to the Veterans Park or the Cape Fear Botanical Garden or maybe the Mazerick Park which the largest park in Fayetteville. And if you have kids, you can organize a visit to Monkey Joe's where they can play freely and do different lovely things. And finally, if you need to watch a movie, then the Omni Cinemas 8 is a great choice.
